Finding group accommodation in Alcossebre takes a bit of know-how: most apartments in town have one or two bedrooms and are designed for four or six people. When you're a large family, two couples with children or a group of friends, it's worth looking for three-bedroom properties rather than renting two separate flats.
Casa Azahar has two options of this size, and they are very different from each other: an apartment in the centre and a villa with a garden.
Mare Nostrum: eight people in the town centre
The Mare Nostrum apartment sleeps eight like this:
| Room | Beds | People |
|---|---|---|
| Main bedroom | 1 double bed | 2 |
| Second bedroom | 2 single beds | 2 |
| Third bedroom | 2 single beds | 2 |
| Living room | Sofa bed | 2 |
The two twin bedrooms are very practical for large families (the children split across two rooms) and for groups of friends who aren't couples. The bathroom has a bath and shower, and there's air conditioning, a heat pump and internet. For a big group, though, the most appreciated comforts are others: a lift, a shared pool and Cargador beach a two-minute walk away.

Staying in the centre has clear advantages when there are lots of you: everyone can go at their own pace, some to the beach and others to buy bread or stroll along the seafront, without relying on a single car. The supermarket, chemist, medical centre and restaurants are just a few metres away (more details in staying in the centre of Alcossebre).

Villas Sunset: a house with a garden for 5 to 7 people
The Villas Sunset are on Camí dels Quatre Termes, in a quiet area between the sea and the hills, 400 metres from Cargador beach. They are detached or semi-detached villas, all with:
- Three bedrooms: the main one with an en-suite bathroom and TV, and two more (one of them double) sharing a bathroom.
- A double sofa bed in the living room, bringing capacity to seven.
- Living-dining room with an open-plan kitchen and island.
- Large terrace, partly covered, with a lawn and a portable barbecue.
- Pool with sun loungers, outdoor parking and air conditioning.

Mare Nostrum or Villas Sunset: how to choose
| If you want… | Best option |
|---|---|
| Room for 8 people | Mare Nostrum |
| To do everything on foot, without a car | Mare Nostrum |
| A lift | Mare Nostrum |
| A private garden and barbecue | Villas Sunset |
| Peace and quiet away from the centre | Villas Sunset |
| Parking next to the house | Villas Sunset |
In short: Mare Nostrum is for groups who want the town centre, the beach and a lift; the Villas Sunset are for those who want a house, a garden and dinners outdoors.

Tips for booking as a group
- The busiest months are July and August: groups should book well ahead, as there are few properties this size.
- June and September tend to be quieter and the water is already pleasant; the sea temperature is around 25 °C at the height of summer.
- Neither Mare Nostrum nor the Villas Sunset accept groups of young people, and pets are not allowed in any Casa Azahar building.
